Please see the Pool Manager to request a slide swim test. The slide swim test assesses a swimmer’s ability to swim in a current. Riders between 42-48 inches tall must pass a slide swim test in order to ride the slide.All riders must be a minimum of 42 inches tall to ride the slide.Squirt guns, inner tubes, torpedoes, mermaid tails/mono-fins, and any large floating toys that may obscure the sightlines of the lifeguards.Food, gum or beverages (with the exception of water).The following items and behaviors are not permitted in the facility:.No private swim lessons or coaching permitted.Only small, round, soft sponge balls and soft, round inflatable beach balls are permitted.There is no diving permitted in the Leisure Pool or in the shallow areas of the Lap Pool.Youths 17 years of age and younger may remain the Lap Pool during rest period as long as they are actively swimming laps or participating in a program.Children 2 years of age and younger may remain in the Leisure Pool during rest period within arm’s reach of an adult who’s in a swimsuit at all times.Adults 18 years of age and older may swim during this time.Safety breaks are called at 15 minutes before each hour.Large groups must maintain a 1:5 adult to child ratio for children under 10. All children wearing a flotation device must be within arm’s reach of an adult in a swimsuit at all times.All children 8-9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 16 years or older in the facility.One adult supervisor is required for every five children in this age group.All children 5-7 years of age must be visually supervised by an adult 16 years or older at all times.One adult supervisor is required for every two children in this age group.All children 4 years of age and younger must be within arm’s reach of an adult 16 years or older in a swimsuit at all times.Those not meeting the ratios are denied pool use. The ratios listed below are established for the safety of all our young guests. Large groups that do not call ahead may be denied pool use. Please call ahead when bringing a group of 10 or more. Please note that throughout the week there may be restricted access to parts of the leisure pool due to our aquatic classes and programs. The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) Leisure Pool includes a lazy river, slide and spa for guest to enjoy. Please direct any questions/concerns to the Pool Manager in the Lifeguard Office, located on the Leisure Pool deck. Please notify the Pool Manager if assistance is needed to find lane space, or if you are denied access to a lane.Please notify other swimmer(s) before entering the lane.Please pick an appropriate lane according to your pace.Be courteous when sharing a lane with other swimmer(s). Lane availability may be restricted at any time due to aquatic programming.Youths 17 years of age and younger swimming laps must be in the Lap Pool prior to rest period beginning to continue swimming laps during break.Anyone swimming continuous laps is permitted in the Lap Pool.Please swim on the right-hand side of the lane, just like when driving a car.Lane 1 is the lane closest to the bleachers.Please refer to the Lap Pool schedule for specific lane availability.Guests participating in aerobic activities in open swim lanes are required to share lane space with others.The Lap Pool is for lap swimming and aerobic activities only.Diving blocks are not permitted for general use.Please return all equipment to the proper storage area.Children may only use equipment properly with direct adult supervision.Fitness and aerobic equipment may only be used by guests 18 years of age or older.Diving is not permitted in the shallow areas of the Lap Pool.
